THE 2018 SPRING EQUINOX RITUALVERNAL EQUINOX RITUAL

begins March 20, 2018 @ 16:15 PM GMT. We commence preparation for ritual 12 hours before the actual equinox starts, March 20, 2018 @ 4:15 AM GMT. During Daylight Savings Time is not utilized in GMT thus California is 7 hrs behind GMT and the ritual will begin March 19, 2018 @ 8:15 PM PDT.

The Vernal Equinox occurs the day, nearest March 21st, when night and day are nearly the same length and corresponds to the center of the Sun crossing the celestial equator moving northward. The Vernal Equinox marks the first day of the season of Spring in the northern hemisphere.

The right ascension at the Vernal Equinox originally was in the constellation Aries and the point of crossing was known as the first point in Aries (now it is actually in Pisces because of precession).

The time is one of balance between night and day, light and dark. It is also a time to consider what goals or wishes you would like to achieve or have happen over the next year.

This ritual assists in the balancing and/or manifesting of it all; achieving those new or uncompleted goals, wishes and desires; a time for all that is new and possible….a time to break the last of the chains that has stopped or hindered your own growth. Thus it is a time to consider what goals or wishes you would like to achieve or what you may want to have happen over the next year; a true celebration of rebirthing your life and nature itself.

And of course in the US (and many other countries) we feel this time of the year when one catches “Spring Fever”. It is the time after Winter when flowers bloom, trees and bushes grow their new leaves and many begin bearing their fruit; It is when Spring Fever catches hold of us. We know love is in the air calling us to listen and follow it with our hearts. Thus this ritual is also excellent for love relationships; to renew, rekindle or begin a love. After all, it’s Springtime and love is in the air…love for others or oneself.

Some people have asked how the ritual is done and what they need to do. So I thought I would give you some more insight.

WHAT I DO: First, after cleansing my home and self, I light a St. Joseph candle for each person. St. Joseph was the husband of Blessed Virgin Mary and the patron of the Universal Church. Because he was a “just man” representing the Eternal Father on Earth I light a St. Joseph candle for you. Through his richness of merit, grace, fortitude and gentleness his candle helps in achieving new or uncompleted goals, wishes and desires.

WHAT WE DO: Then MariaSuzonne, myself, and 4 others begin with a cleansing of my home and ourselves using herbs, soaps, incense and healings. Then we meditate, pray & chant mantras together calling on the saints, masters, your angels and spirit guides to assist and bless your ritual. Then we begin the individual rituals, which takes about an hour per person’s ritual.

We start with your St. Nicholas of Flue (patron of Switzerland; home of the ‘United’ Nations) Candle, the Archangel Raphael Candle (the saint of healing), and herbs. We also burn your brown image candle, and the first knob of your Emerald Green 7 knob candles.

Several hours later we begin lighting the rest of your candles (except your yellow image candle). Your yellow image candle will be lit on the third day. Each of day of the ritual we meditate, pray & chant mantras over your set of candles. We do this as long as any candle is still burning.

HOW THE CANDLES BURN:
Your religious candles burn between 7 and 8 days; your 7 knob candles are burnt at a rate of 1 knob each day, your astrology candle burns for 7 days and the image candles take about 10 to 12 hours to complete. You can imagine what my home is like with all these candles burning and that is not including the candles burning for other rituals. It is amazing over all the years I have never had a need to call the fire department. (God protects. TYWG)

WHAT YOU DO:
Prior to the ritual you are asked to write your desires on paper and email them to us. The last day of the ritual they will be burnt sending your desires out to the Universe; the planting thought seeds for your year ahead.

Outside you writing your desires you just need to relax, keep positive and allow the ritual to work for you.
